Competing at his first Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast 2018, Mark struck silver in the 400m Individual Medley behind Australian home favourite Clyde Lewis, before going on to take bronze as part of the 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay team. He also finished just outside the medals in the 200m IM, taking 4th place. Returning to Commonwealth Games at Birmingham 2022, Mark represented Team Scotland during Men's 200m and 400m Individual Medley.
