Day 12 Round Up

In the velodrome, Jack Carlin started his day off by placing fifth in the Men’s Sprint Qualifying, meaning he would progress through the rounds. Carlin beat Team Canada’s Tyler Rorke in the 1/32 heat, Team Columbia’s Cristian David Ortega Fontalvo in the 1/16 heat and Team Trinidad and Tobago’s Nicholas Paul in the 1/8 heat to advance to the quarterfinals which take place on Thursday.

Day 13 Preview

Light winds in Marseille postponed two sailing Medal Races on Wednesday, including Anna Burnet and partner John Gimson’s Mixed Multihull Medal Race. Their chance of securing a medal will come today.

Jack Carlin returns to the cycling track and will compete in the Men’s Sprint quarterfinals in heat 4, with hopes of progressing to the semifinals.

Laura Muir is back in action for the Women’s 1500m semifinals at the Stade de France.
