Susan Jackson

Rifle shooter Susan Jackson is one of Scotland’s greatest ever competitors in the sport, having won a complete set of Commonwealth Games medals and having made more than 50 international appearances.

A multiple Scottish champion and record holder, she won the gold medal at the 2001 Commonwealth Shooting Championships and forged an outstanding record at Commonwealth Games. At the 1998 Kuala Lumpur Games, she won the bronze medal in 50m Rifle Prone Pairs. Four years later, in Manchester, she took the silver medal in the same event, and in 2006, in Melbourne, she triumphed by winning the gold medal alongside Sheena Sharp.

Winner of 52 international caps for Scotland, she also represented Great Britain on several occasions, including at one World Championship, three European Championships, and three World Cups.
