Sarah was part of the all-conquering Team Scotland judo group at Glasgow 2014, winning gold. She made her second Games appearance at Birmingham 2022 and ranked first in Women +78 kg. As she had repeated the victory in Glasgow, Sarah became the first Judoka ever to win two Commonwealth Games gold medals.
She also competed for Team Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2026.
