Owen Miller
Owen will make his Commonwealth Games debut for Team Scotland at Glasgow 2026. He took up athletics after a teacher saw him running at his school sports day and recommended he join a club. He made his international debut at the 2019 World Championships, where he finished 6th in the 1500m T20.
He competed at his first Paralympic Games at Tokyo 2020, winning gold and, on the back of that success, received the Member of the British Empire (MBE) medal from Princess Anne at Holyrood Palace in July 2022.
Owen is a keen advocate for inclusion and, as a member of Disability Sport Fife, he frequently attends events to promote awareness of the challenges faced by those with autism and the rights of people who have supported learning needs. .
