Megan made her Commonwealth Games debut at Birmingham 2022, finishing sixth as Team Scotland fielded a Women's Rugby 7s team for the first time.
Megan kicked off her career in rugby with an international debut against the Netherlands in Amsterdam in 2011. The following year, she scored eight tries in all four tournaments during the Scotland Women 7s debut. At the FIRA Grand Prix Series in 2013, Megan scored against Italy and Germany. However, Megan executed the most memorable winning touchdown for Hillhead Jordanhill in the last minute at the 2013 Sarah Beaney Cup Final at Murrayfield.
