Lynsey received her first international cap at the age of 17 whilst competing at the European Championships in 2007. She captained the Scotland team at the World Youth Championships in 2013 before going on to make her Commonwealth Games debut at Glasgow 2014. With over 70 caps for Scotland, including the 2015 Netball World Cup. Lynsey made her second Games appearance at Gold Coast 2018 embracing the role as vice-captain with wins over Wales and Barbados as Scotland achieved a 9th place finish.

Lynsey’s younger sister Katie has also represented Scotland at U17, U19 and U21 level for Netball.
