Birmingham 2022 will be Lisa's third Commonwealth Games appearance and follows close on the heels of a superb performance at the World Doubles Championships in April 2022. She won bronze in the Mixed Doubles alongside Greg Lobban and fifth place in the Women's event with Georgia Adderley.

Gold Coast 2018 saw her compete in the Women's Doubles alongside Alison Thomson, finishing 9th. She also competed in the Mixed Doubles with Kevin Moran, where she also finished 9th, and in the Women's Singles event.

Lisa reached the quarter-finals of both Women's and Mixed Doubles at the Delhi 2010 Games and returned to Team Scotland after an incredible comeback from serious illness. Dengue fever contracted while competing at the Malaysian Open in the summer of 2014 derailed her sporting ambitions for over two years, but she made her mark on her return to the sport, winning her first World Tour title at the New Zealand Classic in June 2017 and adding a second at the PwC Open in October of the same year.
