Iona made her Commonwealth Games debut for Team Scotland at Birmingham 2022. She finished 9th in the Women's 500m Time Trial final, was sixth in qualifying in the Women's Team Sprint alongside Lauren Bell and Lusia Steele and also competed in the Keirin and Individual Sprint.
She will be competing with Team Scotland in the Commonwealth Games at Glasgow 2026.
