Ian Shaw

Lindsay Peden
Bisley
Triple Commonwealth Games medallist with bronze in the Queen's Prize Pairs at Gold Coast 2018, an incredible sixth Games appearance for Team Scotland. It followed success at Delhi 2010 where he won silver and bronze at Glasgow 2014.

Ian started shooting whilst studying at Epsom College in the mid 1980s and, after competing at Bisley in the Fullbore Rifle discipline, he was hooked by the challenge of hitting a 10 inch centre at 1000 yards with the wind capable of blowing the bullet feet from the target let alone the centre.

He has gone on to win the Scottish, English and British Open Championships as well as being one of only 4 Brits & the only Scot to win the Ballinger Belt (New
Zealand Open Championship) in over 140 years of competition. He also competes regularly for Great Britain and the county of Surrey.
