Gregor won bronze medal, swimming the heats of the Men's 4x100m Medley Relay as he made his Commonwealth Games debut at Birmingham 2022. He was a semi-finalist in both the 50 Butterfly and 100m Butterfly events.
He became the fist Scottish swimmer to dip under the 24 second mark in the 50m Butterfly, breaking a 16 year old Scottish record at the 2022 British Swimming Championships, a mark he subsequently lowered at both the Scottish National Open and the Commonwealth Games.
