Evie made her Commonwealth Games debut at Birmingham 2022, finishing sixth as Team Scotland fielded a Women's Rugby 7s team for the first time.
Evie's interest in rugby emerged after attending mini rugby sessions at her local club in Stirling County. She celebrated her first victories after the Girls Club Cup Finals in 2017 and 2018. During the same year, she played for the Scotland 7s team, who took home the silver at the 2018 Amsterdam 7s. She successfully debuted after coming off the bench in the 2021 Women's Six Nations.
