Eve made her Commonwealth Games debut at Birmingham 2022 and at 20 years old, was the youngest in the women's hockey squad. Birmingham was not just a first Games for Eve, but also a first Scotland cap, with Team Scotland going on to take sixth place. It came in a highly successful year which also saw her selected for the GB Elite Development Programme.
