Emma made her Commonwealth Games debut at Birmingham 2022, making the semi-finals of both the 50m and 100m Freestyle events. She was part of the Scottish record breaking quartet that took fifth place in the 4x100m Mixed Freestyle Relay, also taking fifth as part of the Women's 4 x 100m and 4 x 200m Freestyle Relays.
