Emily made her Commonwealth Games debut at the 2018 Gold Coast Games where, with wins over Wales and Barbados she helped the team achieve a 9th place finish. She returns for a second Games with Team Scotland for Birmingham 2022.
Emily's inclusion into the national pathway came later than her teammates, being scouted whilst representing the Scottish Student Sport (SSS) national team, and was brought into the Scottish Thistles. Emily achieved her first cap during the Celtic Clash series against Northern Ireland in August 2016, and has been part of the team ever since. Emily was also involved in the inaugural Sirens season and was part of Scotland's World Cup team in 2019.
She is a former Scottish orienteering international.
