Alisha made her Commonwealth Games debut at Birmingham 2022, making the semi-finals of the Women's 100m and finishing eighth as part of the Women's 4 x 100m Relay team. She was previously part of Team Scotland at the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2015 in Samoa where she won silver in the 200m and bronze in the 100m.

She began 2022 by breaking the Scottish 60m record with a time of 7.31 as she took silver at the British Indoor Championships and opened her outdoor season by breaking the Scottish 100m record with a time of 11.39, erasing a mark that had stood for almost half a century. She went on to break the record again with a time of 11.30 in July.

Her international honours include a silver medal over 200m at the 2016 European U18 Championships and 4 x 100m Relay bronze at both the 2017 European U20 Championships and 2018 World U20 Championships.
