Alan will captain Team Scotland at Birmingham 2022 as he heads to his fourth Commonwealth Games. He was part of Scotland's ninth place finish at Delhi 2010 while still a teenager, eighth place at Glasgow 2014 and a best ever men's hockey result with sixth at Gold Coast 2018. Alan is also the youngest player to receive 50 Senior International Caps. Alan will also have his dad, Derek, on the side line as the Men's Hockey Scottish Head Coach.
