ishga Partners Team Scotland for Glasgow 2026

June 17, 2026

Team Scotland is proud to partner with organic skincare brand ishga for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

It’s a particularly meaningful partnership for ishga, with the Games taking place in Glasgow, home to their very first spa partnership at Kimpton Blythswood Square

Rooted in nature, resilience and results-driven formulas, ishga’s values closely align with those of Team Scotland. They’re delighted to be supporting our athletes as they step onto the global stage, helping to support their recovery and wellbeing before and after the Games so they can feel their best and perform at the highest level.

As we look ahead to an exciting summer of sport, we caught up with ishga Co-founder Leon Trayling to hear more.

What made partnering with Team Scotland such a natural fit for ishga ahead of the Commonwealth Games?

Partnering with Team Scotland felt like a natural fit because ishga is a Scottish brand born in the Outer Hebrides, and we share the same values of performance and resilience in our skincare. Our results-driven organic skincare is all about supporting wellbeing and recovery, so it’s a privilege to help athletes feel prepared, confident and connected to Scotland as they compete on the international stage.

ishga is rooted in the healing power of the ocean  – how does this connect with recovery and wellbeing in sport?

The ocean has always been at the heart of ishga, not just as our source of ingredients, but as a symbol of restoration and strength. In sport, recovery and wellbeing are essential to performance, and our skincare supports that ritual of taking time to reset, replenish and care for the body with intentional moments of self-care.

Can you tell us more about the Muscle Recovery Oil and why it’s particularly beneficial for athletes and active lifestyles?

Our Muscle Recovery Oil was created with active bodies in mind, combining our antioxidant-rich Hebridean seaweed extract with carefully chosen essential oils such as eucalyptus and peppermint to help ease tension, support tired muscles and turn recovery into a calming ritual. For athletes and anyone with an active lifestyle, it’s a beautiful way to care for the body after training or competition, helping you to feel restored, rebalanced and ready to go again.

What benefits does massage have for the body and mind?

Massage can be incredibly beneficial for both body and mind, especially around training and recovery. Physically, it can help ease muscle tension, support circulation and encourage the body to relax after exertion, while mentally it creates a moment to pause, reset and reduce stress. For athletes, that balance of recovery and calm is so important, it’s not just about performance, but looking after the whole person.

As a Scottish luxury skincare brand, what does it mean for ishga to support Scottish athletes competing on a global stage?

It’s incredibly meaningful for ishga to support Scottish athletes representing the country on a global stage. As a brand born in the Outer Hebrides, where we continue to make all of our products, we’re proud to celebrate Scottish talent, ambition and resilience, and to support recovery and wellness for the athletes as they compete at the highest level.

Jon Doig, OBE, Chief Executive at Team Scotland, added:

“We’re incredibly proud that ishga is joining the Team Scotland sponsor family on the journey to the Commonwealth Games 2026. As a Scottish wellness and skincare brand rooted in the natural power of the Hebrides, this partnership is a meaningful opportunity for Team Scotland to stand alongside Ishga, whose commitment to wellbeing, resilience and performance reflects the same passion, dedication and ambition that define the Commonwealth Games and our athletes.”
