Day 13 Round Up

Grace Reid returned to the springboard and placed 7th in her Women’s 3m Springboard qualifier, meaning she will progress to the semifinal.

Chances of a medal slipped away from Anna Burnet and partner John Gimson in the Mixed Multihull after they were judged to have crossed the line before the starting horn sounded and forced to retire while their competitors continued. They finished in fourth place.

Laura Muir placed fourth in her 1500m semifinal with a time of 3:59.83 and progressed to the final.

Jack Carlin also completed his quarterfinal races in the Men’s Cycling Sprint and progressed to the semifinals.

Day 14 Preview

Nicole Yeargin and her 4x400m Relay team will compete in Round 1 of their heats with hopes of progressing to the Finals on Saturday. Jack Carlin is back in the velodrome and will compete in the Men’s Sprint semifinals and if he qualifies, the finals later in the day.

A place on the podium is on the table for Grace Reid as she will compete in the Women’s 3m Springboard Final. Neah Evans is also involved on Day 14 and will compete in the Women’s Madison Final.

Back on the track, Eilish McColgan and Megan Keith will both run the Women’s 10,000m Final.
