Day 4 Round Up

More success for Andy Murray and his partner Dan Evans saw the pair beat Belgium to proceed to the quarter finals of the tennis Men’s Doubles.

Team GB’s men’s hockey team had another thrilling day, this time earning another 2-2 draw against the Netherlands. Scottish player Lee Morton scored both goals for his team.

The women’s Rugby 7s came to conclusion yesterday, with Team GB first playing China before facing Ireland in their 7th/8th place final. Team GB beat Ireland meaning they place seventh overall.

Improvements for sailor Fynn Sterritt and 49er partner James Peters saw them rise up the ranks to sit at 10th place at the halfway stage.

Kirsty Gilmour fell to defeat against He BingJiao of China in her second group match, meaning her Paris 2024 journey has come to an end.

Gold success in the pool saw Duncan Scott and his 4x200m Freestyle Relay team secured Team GB’s first swimming gold medal of the 2024 Olympics.

Day 5 Preview

Beth Potter will compete in her first event of the Olympics in the Women’s Individual Triathlon.

Team GB’s women’s hockey team compete in their next pool match, this time against South Africa.

Keanna McInnes is back in the pool, competing in Heat 1 of the Women’s 200m Butterfly with a chance of competing in the semifinals later in the day.

Fynn Sterritt and 49er partner James Peters return to the water to compete in the last three races before the Medal Race.
