Making his second appearance at a Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast 2018 Greg just missed out on bronze in the Men's Doubles event, finishing 4th alongside Alan Clyne. He also made it to the last 16 in the Men's Singles event, matching his result from Glasgow 2014. He returns for his third Games at Birmingham 2022.
Part of the first Scottish team for 17 years to take a European Team Championship medal in 2016, Greg went on to take World Doubles Championship gold with Alan Clyne three months later. A return to the World Doubles Championships, again with Clyne, saw him win silver, a result he matched at the same event in April 2022, this time partnering Rory Stewart.
