Following an impactful first year, Tour de 4 is back on Sunday 6 September 2026, starting at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow.
The event encourages people to get on their bikes and to help change the conversation around Stage 4 cancer.
Launched in February 2025 following Sir Chris Hoy’s own diagnosis, Tour de 4 shines a light on what living with a Stage 4 diagnosis can really look like. More importantly, it aims to show that it is possible to live well, find joy and make meaningful memories alongside cancer.
Team Scotland is extremely proud to partner with this important charitable organisation and support Chris’ vision: to bring together people living with Stage 4 cancer, their families, friends and the wider community.
The partnership saw the ‘Tour de 4’ logo proudly featured on Team Scotland kit for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, worn with pride by athletes and staff throughout the Games.
Everyone can play a part. You might take on the cycling challenge, share your story, support someone taking part or raise funds for a charity that means something to you. However you choose to get involved, you’re helping build a movement centred on hope, strength and community.
Please donate or share to help us continue growing this movement of hope, strength and community: Fundraiser by Tour De 4 : Sir Chris Hoy’s Tour de 4 2026
All funds raised will be managed by GoFundMe.org.uk and granted to the selected UK cancer charities for 2026: Macmillan, Breast Cancer Now, Prostate Cancer UK, Cure Leukaemia and Maggie’s. Every donation will help support people living with Stage 4 cancer across the UK.
