Glasgow 2026 Team Guide

Medical & Wellbeing

Congratulations on your selection. The medical team is looking forward to supporting you before and during Glasgow 2026.

Looking after your health is our priority throughout the Games. Team Scotland will provide a full medical service from the team’s arrival into preparation and holding arrangements through to the end of the Games period (3 August). Our role is to keep you healthy, manage illness and injury, and support your safe return to training and competition.

We hope you finish the Games proud of what you’ve achieved. Games can be exhilarating but also tiring, and in the days afterwards it’s completely normal to feel flat, very tired or more emotional than usual. The team has put dedicated decompression and onward support in place for the period after the Games – see the Mental Health and Wellbeing section below for what’s available and how to access it.
