Your Media Team
Team Scotland will have a dedicated media, digital and content team in Glasgow who aim to maximise the level of positive coverage for the team across all media outlets including social media.
The media team’s role is to support athletes through all media activity at the Games, in the Mixed Zone at competition venues, iZones, Celebrating Success and with pre- and post-competition activity.
Our priority however is to create the best environment for our athletes to perform and an equally important role of the media team is to ensure that media requests do not compromise an athlete’s performance.

Celebrating Success
The Celebrating Success team are there to guide you through post-competition media activity, from after you leave the competition venue through any media requests and appearances in the following days. They will also work with your Media Officer to manage media interest if you still have events to come.
While you may be asked to go to a TV studio, event or other venue, much of this activity will be based at Team Scotland House, where the Team Scotland digital and content team will be based and media will be invited to minimise the travel you need to do.
