Glasgow 2026 Team Guide

Keeping Safe

Your safety and wellbeing remain our highest priority throughout your time at the Games. Below is important guidance designed to help you feel confident, informed, and prepared.

While the host city and venues are considered safe, it is important to remember that large-scale events bring unique challenges. By following established procedures and maintaining awareness, you can contribute to a safe and positive environment for yourself and your teammates.

Accreditation and Kit

Your accreditation is an essential form of identification and must be worn at all times to allow access to venues and restricted areas. Losing accreditation can disrupt your ability to participate, so it should be treated with care and reported immediately if misplaced. When representing the team, wearing official kit is encouraged. However, when attending social settings, particularly where alcohol may be present, discretion should be used to avoid unwanted attention.
